Something different here.
Bought this Mercedes Benz 500 SEC for a project but have other commitments and must sell.
I roof chopped it 4" with the intention of building a low rider or race car with air bags as the roof height looked like a grandpas car originally!
Roof has been fully welded back into position. Had to cut into 4 sections to make it work. Replaced joints with 40mm box section in pillars to join sections so as strong as.
Needs a little finishing. A bit of filler.
Car has rust on bottom of sub frames on both sides but can be repaired. Interior has been removed but still have most of it. Carpets were stuffed.
Motor and box starts and runs great. Doesn't leak a drop of oil. Auto is tight.
Running gear is overall pretty good. Maybe a good project.
Starts first time, brakes are good. Has ABS and electric windows.
Drive it on the trailer.
